About the Company

Our client has been building quality crafted custom homes for over 20 years.  The go against the grain on "cookie cutter," in their approach with new build, renovations and additions on homes of all scope and size. The firm is seeking an Interior Designer that has the experience and skill to take the lead on the entire project; from prospecting new projects, initial client meetings, presentations, project conception, product specifications, vendor relations, project management, installations and final punch out.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will work directly with clients from conceptualization to installation punch out of new build and renovation high-end residential projects. Join a collaborative, highly detailed, creative team and execute high-end residential projects of all scope.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or relevant
  • Proficient in 20/20 and MS Office Suites
  • 4 +years experience in new build and/or renovation Interior Design full life projects
  • 4+ years experience in Kitchen & Bath design and space planning including; appliance, cabinetry, tile, trim, flooring and lighting material specifications
  • Work directly with residential clients on conceptualizing and/or re-imaging one room and/or the entire home
  • Proficient in conceptualization and/or re-imaging of a space, room and/or entire home
  • Proficient in product selections, working directly with vendors, pricing, RFIs, ordering, value engineering and managing budgets
  • Highly organized, excellent project and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written and client presentation skills
  • Works well within a team environment and independently
  • Stays abreast and actively connected to the A&D market including local design events, trends and network partnerships
  • Confident and experienced in prospecting new residential clients and projects

Compensation Package:

  • $60K + based on experience (especially with K&D designs)
  • Bonus based on interior design project and/or K&D cabinetry sales
  • Generous healthcare stipend
