About the Company

Established in 1983 our client, the company is one of the leading interior design firms in Denver, specializing in full scope interior packages for model homes and commercial projects including but not limited to; retail, hospitality, luxury senior living and apartment communities nationwide.


About the Position

The ideal Commercial Interior Designer will have a wide breadth of skill and experience from client presentation, design conceptualization, product specifications, construction documents, site and project management. They will thrive working independently and within a team, be  self-motivated, solution-oriented and accountable.



  • Produce quality, cutting edge Interior Design Commercial projects

  • Provide support to the Senior Designer and Creative Director to ensure the success of individual projects including; design integrity, code compliance and staying within the assigned budget

  • Develop client presentations including; fabric, furniture, lighting and finish selections

  • Develop presentation drawings including; plans, elevations and rendered perspectives

  • Product research of product specifications, installation, and warranties

  • Develop FF&A budgets and Change Order Requests

  • Develop drawings in all stages of the project including; design drawings, preliminary bid set and final working ID documents

  • Review all aspects of project design development/construction with Senior Designer

  • Review and redline drawings when revisions occur

  • Responsible for all FF&A and interior finish selections

  • Ensure that products meet all required Commercial codes

  • FF&A specifications utilizing Design Smart including; furniture, lighting, drapery, soft goods, art & accessories

  • Issue specifications to Purchasing after being reviewed by Senior Designer

  • Complete all design assignments / tasks assigned for each project and review with Senior Designer

  • Travel to project site during various project stages, including installations

  • Coordinate with AutoCAD Department the production of construction documents

  • Complete Construction Administration process of projects through construction and review with Senior Designer



  • 5+ years commercial interior design project experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or relevant

  • Fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office Suites and Excel

  • Current and relevant design portfolio to submit



  • $65K+ based on experience and portfolio of work
