About the Company

One of the largest full-service corporate interior design firms is hiring an Intermediate Designer for their Miami office. Combining their keen ability to create visually compelling and functionally strategic designs, the firm uniquely delivers corporate work-spaces, that allows their client to move their enterprise forward. The ideal Intermediate Designer will be a cultural add to the team, and will provide design support primarily in project documentation, design development and contract documentation. Is this you?

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Provide preliminary review of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design
  • At senior designers direction, complete technical drawings
  • Work with design team to develop design ideas
  • Assist senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishes, develop preliminary space plans at a high level
  • At senior designers direction, provide suggested details for interior design projects,and collect details for furniture and finish cost estimates
  • Develop preliminary plans
  • Assist senior staff with verification of site details to support design, and field surveying of client spaces Support the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews, provide documentation support


  • Bachelor’s Degree (and/or greater) of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted
  • 3+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics
  • Familiarity with space planning methodology, FF&E
  • Intermediate sketching, rendering and interior architecture detailing skills
  • Working knowledge of CDs and procedures
  • Familiarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirements
  • Familiarity with requirements for the path of travel and contract administration
  • Commitment to support projects through peaks and valleys
  • Advanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic presentation and graphic communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish
