As the Manager of Procurement in the Model Merchandising Division, you will be over the procurement of furniture, accessories for model merchandising projects all over the country. You will work with several furniture companies and manage company expectations, by creating and adjusting existing company procedures, hiring, and training new staff on their team. You can expect to work on approximately 75 projects at any given time, and oversee a team of 3-4 professionals. Your responsibilities include creating, forwarding and tracking purchase orders; working with vendors, designers and receiving warehouses. As the Manager of Procurement, you will be working in a fast paced environment. You must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow through on all assigned projects.
- 5+ years of residential procurement experience
- Knowledge of residential furniture companies
- Strong computer skills, including data entry
- Proficient communication skills
- Personable and detail-oriented
