Nadia Roberts
– Principal

Nadia is
the founder of Interior Talent. Her goal was to build a
specialized recruitment firm for the Architecture and
Design industry. Her vision was to create a talent resource
that would change the way clients had previously viewed outsourcing
their hiring needs. “We wanted to build a company that was
driven by the quality of our candidate relationships, enabling us
to be a strategic partner in the growth of our client’s
business.” This has been achieved by investing time up front
with each candidate in order to truly understand and uncover their
Interior Talent. “By
understanding the innate talents and learned skill-sets of our
candidates we are able to present opportunities that align with
both their professional and personal goals – this personal
approach to recruiting is at the core of our success.”
Having spent the early part of her career in financial services and
real estate in her home town of Vancouver, B.C.,
– Nadia moved to New York to pursue her love of design
and all things creative. She received her first taste of recruiting
after she graduated from F.I.T in New York City and had the
opportunity to work with one of the leading creative recruitment
firms in Manhattan.
It was in Chicago that she first saw a need in the market for a
talent resource that focused exclusively on the Architecture &
Design community. Interior Talent opened their doors in 2003,
followed by their second office in Orlando, Florida in 2005.
Kenneth Roberts
– Principal

Prior to
joining Interior Talent, Kenneth spent nearly 15 years in a sales
and operational role for Outback Steakhouse and Crunch Fitness
collectively. There he enjoyed a successful career of hiring,
training and mentoring hundreds of key employees. He now uses his
expertise in staff development to help our candidates advance their
careers while providing key employee retention strategies to our
clients.
As an avid public speaker and the outside voice of Interior Talent,
Kenneth has had the opportunity to share our valuable industry
specific recruitment knowledge with hundreds of professionals. He
has been a key-note speaker at Neocon 2006, 2007, Interiors 08 and
multiple ASID and IIDA Chapter events. Kenneth is also the
host of our Evening Webinar Series and creator and host of the CEU
accredited seminar/webinar: Tools, Tips & Tactics: Finding a
Job in a Tough Market. If you would like

Outside of Interior Talent, Kenneth is a husband, father, pilot and
new fan of sprint-triathlons.
Lynde Gillis – Managing
Partner
Lynde is Managing Partner of the Interior Talent Chicago office.
She is not only the motivator and cheerleader to our talented
Chicago team; she is also a full service recruiter that has
introduced numerous A-game design and technical talent to their new
positions.
Lynde brings an extensive background in marketing to the team. She
joined Interior Talent three years ago. She decided it was time to
retire her “expert in eating everything” title at
Dining Out Magazine – where she was Assistant Publisher. She
earned a BA from Columbia College in Business Management and
Marketing (which definitely helped her survive her first Neocon
tradeshow). She has an amazing ability to develop lasting
relationships with our clients and candidates – and she
brings an outstanding level of integrity to each search.
